Miniature Earth drives home points about disability, global poverty

A video from Miniature Earth was selected "Best of YouTube" last week, and one of its first statistics is that 9% of the world is disabled. The concept of the video is to describe the characteristics of the Earth's people if only 100 existed.

Miniature Earth's Web site says: "The idea of reducing the world’s population to a community of only 100 people is very useful and important. It makes us easily understand the differences in the world."

It's a powerful video that succinctly tells all of us how rich and how poor the people of the world are.
